Dublin lights up ahead of Three NYE Dublin Festival

As Dublin gets set to countdown to 2014, Trinity College Dublin was illuminated with magical 3D projections on Sunday night to celebrate the beginning of the Three NYE Dublin festival celebrations.

As Dublin gets set to countdown to 2014, Trinity College Dublin was illuminated with magical 3D projections on Sunday night to celebrate the beginning of the Three NYE Dublin festival celebrations.

The pinnacle of the festival, which is expected to be enjoyed by over 10,000 people, is the Three NYE Dublin Countdown Concert, Ireland’s biggest street party. The concert, hosted by Bray native and MTV star Laura Whitmore and RTE presenters Daithi O’Se and Sinead Kennedy, will feature top artists including the legendary Madness, MKS (Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan), The Strypes, Ryan Sheridan and Seo Linn plus very special surprise guests in the atmospheric surroundings of College Green.

Using the backdrop of one of the city’s historical landmarks, Dublin is gearing up for what is set to be a spectacular two-day festival, taking place on Tuesday 31st December and Wednesday 1st January and includes The People’s Procession of Light, Three NYE Dublin Countdown Concert and The Big Brunch on New Year’s Day.
