You’ll be able to vote on which landmarks and streets will make up the board.

If you’re eager to climb onto the property ladder in Dublin by any means possible, then it’s time to get excited because the capital city is getting its very own official Monopoly board.

This will mark the first time that Dublin receives the full Uncle Pennybags treatment, with this also being the latest Irish version to be released after the previous Ireland edition was discontinued back in 2011.

Slated for a Christmas 2018 release, the company behind the game, Winning Moves are now requesting Irish people vote to select which parts of their capital will make up all 22 spaces on the board with only Dublin Castle, St. Stephen’s Green and Temple Bar confirmed.

Commenting on the news, Robert Osborne from Winning Moves said:

“We are expecting to be spoilt for choice for landmarks to fill this board. This very special edition will go into production to be ready in time for this Christmas (2018) and will hit shop shelves this October.

“The game will be sold not just in Dublin shops but to the world via Amazon and online.”

Suggestions are being taken from 28 March until 23.59pm on 30 April, with votes being taken via the Dublin Monopoly Facebook page and [email protected].
