Dublin player wins €500,000 on last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw

They were not the only Irish player to win big in Tuesday’s EuroMillions.

EuroMillions players in the Ballycoolin area of Dublin are being urged to check their tickets carefully on St Patrick’s Day after one lucky ticket holder won the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize in last night’s draw.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on Sunday, 14 March in the Mace shop at the Maxol service station in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers for Tuesday, 16 March draw were 10, 24, 29, 35 and 45.

The EuroMillions Plus winner was not the only big winner last night as two additional players from Dublin and Longford scooped €165,027 each by matching five numbers and one lucky star in the main draw.

Both players were just one lucky star away from winning the overall EuroMillions jackpot on Tuesday night worth €73,410,604.

The Dublin winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket at Tesco in the Stillorgan Shopping Centre while the winner from Longford purchased their Quick Pick ticket in Aldi on the Harbour Road in Longford.

Both players bought their winning tickets on the day of the draw.

The winning EuroMillions numbers for last’s draw were 23, 25, 32, 35, 47 and the lucky stars were 02 and 06.

All three winning ticket holders are advised to sign the back of their tickets and to get in touch with the National Lottery claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

While there was no winner of last night’s €73,410,604 EuroMillions jackpot, there were more than 56,000 players in Ireland who won prizes.

This Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot on 19 March is now set to roll to an estimated €85 million.
