Some breaking ‘Fr. Ted-esque’ news from the Dundalk Democrat this evening as Dundalk FC manager Stephen Kenny was recently reunited with his favourite jumper.

There’s nothing like a good, light-hearted news story to finish off the week and the lads at the Dundalk Democrat have stumbled across an absolute gem involving a League of Ireland manager and his ‘favourite jumper’.

According to the paper, “[Stephen] Kenny was enjoying a coffee and a read of the newspaper at Panama Cafe on the Market Square” when he left without picking up his jumper.

Apparently, the owner of the café initially suspected St Patrick’s or Drogheda United fans had something to do with it, but thankfully, Mr Kenny was eventually reunited with the jumper (which sadly wasn’t blue). You can read the rest of the article over here.
