Two men have been arrested.
Gardaí have seized almost €2 million worth of cannabis following an operation carried out in Meath on Wednesday, 17 November.
Personnel attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, the Meath Divisional Drugs Unit and the Revenue Customs Service searched a premises in the Rathfeigh area.
The search was conducted as part of ongoing investigations targeting individuals suspected to be involved in an organised crime outfit operating in Meath.
During the course of the search, 97 kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €1.94 million was seized by Revenue officers.
Gardaí subsequently arrested two men, aged 59 and 61.
Both men have been detained at Ashbourne Garda Station pursuant to Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
