This is the third big National Lottery win Wicklow has seen in seven days.
EuroMillions players in Wicklow are being urged to check their tickets carefully after one lucky punter won the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize in Friday night’s draw.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on the day of the draw at the Tesco store on the Wexford Road in Arklow Town.
The EuroMillions Plus numbers for last night’s draw were 08, 14, 15, 27 and 42.
This is the third big National Lottery win Wicklow has seen in the space of seven days after another player in Rathdrum on Friday, 18 June won the Match 5 + Lucky Star prize of €96,928 in the EuroMillions.
In last Saturday’s Lotto draw, meanwhile, another online player from Wicklow picked up the €331,563 Match 5 + Bonus prize on offer.
The National Lottery has advised the latest winner to sign the back of their golden ticket and to get in touch with their claims team on 1800 666 222 or by emailing [email protected].
Arrangements will then be made for the lucky player to claim their prize.
There was no winner of last night’s EuroMillions jackpot which was worth over €53 million, though over 56,000 players in Ireland won prizes.
Next Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot will now roll to an estimated €65 million.
