Nine people, including a teenage boy, arrested in Cork after shot discharged
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Nine people, including a teenage boy, have been arrested in Cork after at least one shot was discharged in a housing estate.
The shot was discharged at Mahon in Cork city and RTÉ said it's believed to be part of a dispute between two families in the area.
Gardaí were called to Ravensdale Close in Mahon following the incident around 5.15pm on Sunday.
Two vehicles and three residences were searched as part of the investigation.
A number of weapons were seized and a total of nine people were arrested. This included four men, a male juvenile and four women.
The male juvenile has since been released along with one another woman.
No injuries were reported in the incident
