Man in serious condition following electronic scooter collision in Dublin

The incident took place on Tuesday morning.

A man is in serious condition following a road traffic collision that took place in Dublin on Tuesday, 16 November.

The man, who is aged in his 40s, was travelling via electronic scooter on Herberton Road in Dublin 12 at approximately 8.45am on Tuesday morning when he fell from his vehicle.

He was subsequently taken to St James’s Hospital for treatment for his injuries.

The road was initially closed off for a technical examination but has since reopened to the public.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses.

Any road users who were travelling in the vicinity at the time of the incident – particularly anyone who may have camera footage – is asked to make contact with An Garda Síochána.
