The 'Beast from the East' is not messing around.
Ireland is set for its coldest spell of weather in many, many years from Tuesday onwards, with emergency services and outreach groups looking to protect the more vulnerable members of society.
Eileen Gleeson of the Dublin Region Homeless Executive has urged people to get in touch if they see people rough; she told RTÉ that the biggest challenge they face is warning people who may be sleeping rough about the forecast.

"We have outreach teams on the street, who are working to identify these people and we have a link on our homeless website," Ms Gleeson said.
"It's vitally important that anyone who sees a person who's homeless that they link them onto the rough sleeper report, so that we can get to them."
Met Éireann has issued a status orange weather warning with snow and ice set to hit the east of the country in the coming days.
Scattered snow showers are expected in Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Laois, Louth, Wicklow and Meath on Tuesday, leading to accumulations of 4-6 centimetres by Wednesday morning.
People are advised to prepare for widespread frost and icy conditions.
The warning is in place from Tuesday 27 February at 3pm until Wednesday 28 February at 11am.
