Emilia Clarke has said that the intimate moments she filmed on her latest project have resulted in her getting a broken rib.
The British actress, 39, plays a fledgling spy in Ponies, a Cold-War era drama that takes her career in a new direction.
While the “Mother of Dragons” and “Breaker of Chains” has filmed sex scenes in the past, especially in Game of Thrones, they proved something else in the American spy thriller television series.
According to Clarke, she “really made out a bunch” with her co-stars and even broke a rib while filming.
“She’s such a tiny little sensitive body, meant she broke a rib” Richardson told the publication.
Clarke says that when the doctors asked her how it happened upon her visit, she decided to tell the full truth: “Sex! Times three!”
“It didn’t fully break. It just popped out a little bit”, she explained.
The series, which is now streaming on Peacock, stars Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson as Bea and Twila, respectively.
They’re the wives of two CIA agents during the Cold War, but when their men die under mysterious circumstances, the women decide to go back to Russia and work as agents themselves to get answers.

Her co-star Haley Lu Richardson confirmed that this did in fact happen.
