Thousands of households in Dublin are without power on Monday evening (18 October) following an electrical fault.
Affected areas include Dublin 3 and Dublin 5, with houses in Fairview, Drumcondra, East Wall and Clontarf hit by a power outage shortly after 6pm.
ESB Networks has responded to the issue and is seeking to repair the problem “as quickly as possible”.
“We have a fault in Clontarf and surrounding areas of Dublin 3 and Dublin 5,” ESB Networks posted on Twitter on Monday evening.
“We are working to repair as quickly as possible.”
Anyone experiencing related issues is encouraged to log a fault online at the ESB Networks website.
