Make room, another Irish millionaire coming through.
The Lotto luck continues in Ireland because we have a second millionaire in the space of a few days after one Irish punter pocketed a big sum of money in Friday’s EuroMillions draw.
Whoever has that golden ticket has managed to grab €1,051,958 for themselves after matching five numbers and one star in the September 8 draw and the location of the shop where the ticket was sold has yet to be revealed.
If they had managed to match the last star in their lucky line of numbers, they would have been waking up this morning €28.5 million richer but hey, we’re sure they are not exactly upset with their current winnings.
The Irish winner was the highest winner on the night with only one person matching five and one star and nobody in Europe managing a clean sweep.
The numbers drawn in Friday’s main draw were 9, 24, 42, 47, 49 and the lucky stars were 1 and 5.
