A huge win.

The winners of Tuesday night’s EuroMillions draw worth a stunning €175,475,380 have been revealed as a large family syndicate from Naul in North Dublin.

A family spokesperson, who is married to one of the syndicate, said: “This is unbelievable. It will take us some time to get our heads around this win and to organize ourselves.

“We are a very close family. We meet every week and we take holidays together every year. This is a dream come true for us. We don’t want this to change our lives.

“What is so exciting is that we will be able to share this money with children, grandchildren and extended family members,” he said.

Most of the family group who won are retired and are looking forward to having time to enjoy their winnings. They are a well-known family in Naul who have been in the area for two generations.

The winning numbers were 1, 8, 18, 19, and 39, with the bonus numbers 7 and 9 and was sold in Reilly’s Daybreak in Naul, County Dublin.

The record-breaking victory trumps the €115 million won by Limerick woman Dolores McNamara in July of 2005.

It marks the 14th Irish EuroMillions win since the game was launched in the country back in 2004.

The EuroMillions has been rolling for several weeks and the maximum jackpot of €190 million has only been paid out three times ever in the history of EuroMillons.
