One of the biggest start-ups in the world is adding to its Dublin staff.

Slack, the workplace messaging platform giant, are planning to add 80 new employees to their European headquarters in Dublin, adding to its already 100-strong workforce in the capital.

The three-year-old company, worth an estimated $3.8 billion, are looking for recruits in the areas of account management and customer experience, as reported by RTÉ.

It’s not only the workforce that is expanding at Slack in Dublin, with the company moving into the 29,000 square foot office in One Park Place in Dublin city centre.

Speaking about the good news, Slack’s Dublin-based senior manager of accounts, James Sherrett said:

“Our user base grew tenfold last year and we’re seeing strong demand across all industries and from businesses of all sizes, for more efficient and effective team communications.”

Slack currently has 430 global employees and 2.7 million users on a daily basis.
