Firefighters rushed to the scene of a massive fire at an apartment at Belgard Square North in Tallaght.
Dublin Fire Brigade members from Tallaght, Rathfarnham, and Dolphins Barns attended the scene, from which no injuries have been reported.
The public have been warned by Dublin Fire Brigade of traffic disruption in the area.
This is the second apartment to go on fire in Dublin today after four people were hospitalised as a result of an incident at the Tullyvale apartment complex in Loughlinstown around nine o'clock this morning.
It is understood that an evacuation was in process when firefighters arrived, alongside four ambulances which were also sent to the scene.
