Be careful out there.
Several flights and bus journeys have been cancelled and a number of train journeys will be impacted by Storm Hannah, which is set to make its presence felt in Ireland on Friday evening.
Met Éireann has taken the rare step of issuing
a status red wind warning for Clare (from 8-11pm on Friday) and Kerry (from 6-8pm on Friday), while status orange wind warnings will apply to both counties, as well as Cork, Limerick, Galway, Tipperary and Waterford until 2am on Saturday morning.
A status yellow wind warning, meanwhile, will apply to all counties in Connacht, as well as Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Wicklow, Offaly, Donegal, Tipperary and Waterford, from 11pm on Friday until 9am on Saturday morning.
The travel plans of many are set to be impacted as a result.
