Homenews

If there's one thing we do well, it's a bit of grub!

Four Irish restaurants have been added to the Michelin Guide.

Stars, Green Stars and Bib Gourmands will be revealed at the annual MICHELIN Guide Ceremony; however, inspectors add restaurants to the selection year-round.

The additions come on a monthly basis, with this month seeing a total addition of 16 establishments.

Three of the four Irish restaurants added to the list are located in Dublin, along with a delicious eatery in Waterford.

The additions mean there are now a total of 106 Irish restaurants in the guide, which covers the UK and Ireland.

This month's additions include:

  • Forêt, Dublin
  • Hera, Dublin
  • The Pig's Ear Dublin
  • Farmgate Lismore, Waterford

Forêt is described as a 'thoroughly French treat', with The Pig's Ear labelled a 'traditional taste of Ireland'.

Hera was named as one of the 'the hottest tickets in town.'

Farmgate Lismore in Waterford was praised for its 'sensibly priced menu' and a 'prevailing ethos of fuss-free cooking and prime, locally sourced produce.'
