A man has died following an assault in a cemetery in Kerry on Wednesday (5 October).
Gardaí confirmed to JOE the fatal incident occurred this morning at Rathass Cemetery in Tralee.
According to RTÉ News, the man, aged in his 40s, was attacked during a family funeral, and at least one other person has been injured in the incident.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body has been taken to University Hospital Kerry.
The scene is currently preserved pending a full technical examination, and no further information is available at the time of printing.
