A member of An Garda Síochána required hospital treatment following an incident with a member of the public at the Garth Brooks concert in Croke Park on Saturday evening (10 September).
In a statement to JOE, Gardaí said in what was "isolated public order incident" at the event, a Garda "sustained a facial injury while assisting stewards".
The Garda required treatment in hospital for the injuries sustained, with the The Irish Mirror reporting that the Garda suffered a broken nose.
A man in his late 20s was arrested at the scene and taken to Store Street Garda Station.
He is expected to appear before Dublin District Court on Monday, 12 September, charged in connection with the incident.
