One man left with serious head injuries following scrambler collision

Gardaí in Coolock are investigating an incident involving a couple and a scrambler motorbike which left the one man with serious head injuries.

They are currently appealing for information surrounding an incident at Darndale Park, Coolock, Dublin 17 at approximately 2pm on Saturday, June 9.

According to Gardaí, a male and female were sunbathing in the park when a scrambler motorcycle drove over the brow of a hill and impacted with the couple.

The collision resulted in a 39-year-old male receiving serious head injuries on impact. He is currently in Beaumont hospital where his condition is being described as critical. 

It’s understood a 16-year-old male is assisting Gardaí with their enquiries.
