Gardaí carrying out enquiries into alleged indoor gathering in Danny Healy-Rae’s bar
No formal investigation has commenced, a Garda spokesperson said.
Gardaí have confirmed they are carrying out preliminary enquiries into an alleged indoor gathering at a pub in Kerry owned by Independent TD Danny Healy-Rae.
It comes after video footage emerged online appearing to show breaches of Covid-19 regulations at the Kilgarvan pub.
The video was uploaded by Radio Kerry's current affairs programme Kerry Today on Twitter and shows a gathering in the pub with an apparent lack of mask-wearing and social distancing.
There is also footage of people dancing topless, sitting on each other's shoulders and taking photos.
The video footage from the gathering shows Danny Healy-Rae in attendance and posing for pictures.
