A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána has confirmed a body has been found in the search for Clare man Zuhair Chowdhury.
Chowdury, who was 29 years of age, had last been seen in the North Clare area on 17 December. It had not been noted where Chowdhury was last seen, nor what he had been wearing.
Gardaí have not confirmed where the body was found. No details have been provided as to the circumstances of the death, though Gardaí have noted that no further action is required.
