The investigation is continuing.

An Garda Síochána has made its third public appeal for witnesses relating to a “serious incident” that occurred in Courtown Harbour, Co. Wexford.

The incident occurred in the early hours of 28 July.

In a statement issued on Thursday evening, Gardaí thanked those who had already come forward and restated their appeal:

They are looking for anyone who was in the Burrow area of Courtown Harbour between 10pm on 27 July and 2am on 28 July. Gardaí are also looking to speak to anyone who may have dash cam footage of the relevant area.

Gardaí have not revealed any material details of the incident, but have confirmed that there were three victims — who are “in the process of being interviewed by a team of specially trained interviewers,” according to a spokesperson for the organisation.

The Gardaí has declined to make any further information available, citing “the sensitive nature of the investigation” and “the ages of those involved.”

Anyone with information is encouraged to make contact with the incident room at Gorey Garda Station on 053-943 0690 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
