Gardaí seek witnesses after shooting in Dublin

The shooting took place in Raheny.

Gardaí at Raheny Garda station are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting in Dublin last night (12 January).

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed that a man in his late 30s was shot at St. Berach’s Place, Raheny, Dublin, at approximately 9.30pm on Sunday.

The man was brought to Beaumont hospital, and his injuries are described as “non life-threatening” by Gardaí.

Gardaí are now asking members of the public and road users with dash-cam footage who may have been in the Kilbarrack area at the time, especially St. Berach’s Place, on Sunday between 9pm and 10pm to contact them.
