Gardaí appealing for witnesses to serious road traffic collision in Dublin

One person was left with serious injuries.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed a road traffic collision in Dublin on Friday.

An investigation is currently underway into the serious road traffic collision that occurred approximately 3.30pm on 1 June on Oak Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

The collision involved a car and pedal cyclist.

The pedal cyclist was removed from the scene to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries. The 30-year-old female pedal cyclist remains in hospital in a critical condition. The 31-year-old female driver was uninjured.

Gardaí are appealing to any persons who may have witnessed the collision or who travelled on the Oak Road at around that time.

They’d also like to speak to anyone who may have dash cam equipment, to assist them in their investigation.
