Products affected have best before dates of 5/10 and 8/10.
As a precautionary measure, Glanbia is recalling batches of its Avonmore Fresh Soup range due to the possible presence of small pieces of plastic.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) said that Avonmore soups with best before dates of 5 October and 8 October this year are implicated in the recall.
A number of different soups have been recalled, as detailed in the table below.
In-store notices request customers who have bought the implicated batches to return them to the store are being displayed by Dunnes Stores and Tesco Stores.
