They're also helping the Simon Community in the process
There are certain things that JOE will never get tired of writing about.
Anything that involves goats, GAA or crisps are fine with us which is why we're delighted to say that Tayto have just announced that they're opening their very first pop-up shop in Dublin.
JOE's interest in crisp café's has been well documented before but it seems like this is finally happening.
All you crisp lovers will be pleased to know that 'Mr. Tayto’s Pop Up Shop' will feature everything Tayto related, including the much loved and original, Tayto crisp sandwich.
The pop-up shop will be located on Wicklow Street in Dublin 2 and will open from 5th March until Sunday 15th March.
Mr Tayto himself will be in attendance and the crisp sandwiches come in 4 different flavours;
The Cheese and Onion Classic, The Salt and Vinegar Sarnie, The Smokey Bacon Butty and for the posh sandwich brigade, a Prawn Cocktail Treat.
We're already there but in a nice touch, 1 Euro from every 2 Euro sandwich sold will go to help Dublin’s Simon Community.
Here's hoping that this shop makes it around Ireland in the months to come because Mr Tayto is only behind Johnny Logan and JOE in terms of universal Irish popularity.
