Pint on Paddy’s Day?
Guinness drinkers are are proud to call themselves a unique bunch and in my opinion a pint of the black stuff is the nectar of the gods. Still though, there’s no denying that it’s an acquired taste because the people that love it would probably shove their own mother out of the queue in a bar just so they can get served first while the haters, well, they probably prefer to drink Ribena when they’re out.
If you happen to be named Patrick, Patricia, Paddy, Podge, Pedro or any variation of the name Patrick then Guinness has some good news for you because they’re giving free admission to their Storehouse this Paddy’s Day.
The Guinness Storehouse was named ‘Europe’s leading tourist attraction’ at the World Travel Awards and a pint in the Gravity Bar is definitely something that people should experience.
If your name happens to be some variety of Ireland’s patron saint then you’re urged to bring ID along to St James’s Gate and gain complimentary admission, it’s usually €20 to enter.
Does anyone else feel like using a crafty disguise in an effort to get in for free?
