We remember the sun like it was only yesterday.

DART services in Dublin are returning to normal on Saturday afternoon, following severe delays due to the heavy rain.

The downpours started in the city on Saturday morning after a number of hot, sunny days, causing services on the line between Bray and Dún Laoghaire to be cancelled.

Iarnród Éireann confirmed those services were resuming just after 2pm on Saturday.

AA Roadwatch, meanwhile, have told people in the capital to expect long delays this evening.

The AA Roadwatch Twitter page is being updated constantly with flood updates from around the country.
