Here’s your weather forecast for the rest of the weekend

Eoghan Doherty

weather this week

Another fine day with highs of 19 degrees…

Thanks to the fine folk at Met Éireann, here’s today’s Sunburn Index. Maybe Steve Garrigan from Kodaline should keep an eye on this one…

There’s still a low Pollen Count out there too, so make sure you’re carrying some of your personally-embroidered handkerchiefs around with you, just in case you completely snot yourself…

According to the official Met Éireann update, here’s what the weather will be like during the day on Sunday and later tonight…

Sunday (during the day)

Generally dry today with sunny spells.

Patches of fog and ground frost at first and highest temperatures ranging 12 to 19 degrees in light northerly breezes.

Sunday night

Dry, clear and calm tonight.

Some patches of fog and ground frost developing with lowest air temperatures 1 to 6 degrees Celsius.

And if you were thinking of wearing your ridiculously short short-shorts into work this week, here’s a quick look at the forecast for the next few days…

Monday

Continuing dry with sunny spells. Highest temperatures ranging from 16 to 20 degrees inland to a cool 12 degrees in some coastal areas in sea breezes.

Tuesday

Cloudy and breezy with scattered outbreaks of rain, persistent in places. Highest temperatures 14 to 18 degrees in fresh southwesterly winds.
