If you’re out and about…

At this time of year, pray for those poor souls that have to work over the Bank Holiday weekend. Heroes, one and all.

However, if you happen to have the next few days free and plan on kicking back and relaxing, you might want to know what’s in store on the weather front, especially with so many events occurring this weekend.

Well, the last few weeks have been somewhat erratic on the weather front and the next three days looks set to follow suit, according to Met Éireann.

Today will start dry in the east and north. However, showery rain in the southwest will spread further northwards during the day. Thankfully, there’s set to be good dry and bright intervals during the afternoon and evening. Top temperatures 18 to 22 degrees.

Sadly, these conditions won’t last into the night as tonight will see further showery rain at times with lowest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees.

Sunday will start mainly dry and bright with sunny spells. However, showers will develop during the day and some will be heavy with a chance of thunder. Highest temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees in light to moderate southeast winds.

Thankfully, most areas will become dry on Sunday night, with clear spells and lows of 11 to 14 degrees.

As for Monday, it’s set to be dry in many areas at first, but showers in the west and southwest will become widespread during the day.

The showers will become heavy and prolonged in places, with some thunderstorms possible as well. Maximum temperatures 18 to 21 degrees. It will be quite windy along west and south coasts with fresh to strong southwest winds.
