An investigation is underway.
Two horses were reportedly found dead, while another has been left injured following a shooting in Tipperary.
A Gardaí spokesperson informed JOE that they were called to an incident on Friday, 29 March 2019 at approximately 1pm in Cappawhite, Tipperary, where a man had discovered three horses shot in his land.
Tipperary Live have reported that one of the horses was in foal when it was killed, and Gardaí are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
