The hurricane is expected to do a substantial amount of damage.

Hurricane Dorian has been upgraded to a Category Five, the highest possible category, as it is expected to make its way through parts of America, as well as Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.

According to the National Hurricane Centre, a tropical storm warning is now in effect for some parts of Florida.

This warning means that the hurricane is expected to come during the next 36 hours.

This news comes as a number of hotels have been boarded up in the Bahamas, while many families on the islands have evacuated their homes.

The warning issued by the National Hurricane Centre read: “Dorian is now a category 5 #hurricane with 160 mph sustained winds. The eyewall of this catastrophic hurricane is about to hit the Abaco Islands with devastating winds.”

US President Donald Trump told reporters that a decision on whether to order evacuations on the East coast of America will be made later on Sunday.

When news emerged that Puerto Rico was in danger of the hurricane, Trump took to Twitter to talk about the amount of money his Government had already sent to them.

“Wow! Yet another big storm heading to Puerto Rico. Will it ever end? Congress approved 92 Billion Dollars for Puerto Rico last year, an all time record of its kind for “anywhere.””
