Iarnród Éireann warns there will be changes and disruption to services this weekend

Don’t get caught out.

Iarnród Éireann has warned that there will be changes and disruptions to its services across the country this Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

There will be a revised timetable in place for the Easter weekend on all routes and customers are advised to check times before travel from Good Friday, 15 April to Easter Monday, 18 April.

Customers are also advised to prebook for intercity travel, particularly during busy periods.

Good Friday – 15 April
Revised times on many routes, including a Saturday schedule on DART and revised Saturday schedule on Commuter services.

Saturday 16 to Easter Monday 18 April
Revised times on all routes, as well as works taking place on a number of routes.

There will be track and overhead line renewal works, Grand Canal Dock to Greystones from Saturday 16 to Monday, 18 April. Due to these works, customers are advised:

  • DART services are suspended between Grand Canal Dock and Greystones. Rail tickets are valid on Dublin Bus and GoAhead services to/from areas affected. DART services are operating between Malahide/Howth and Grand Canal Dock.
  • Dublin to Rosslare Europort services will operate with bus transfers between Dublin Connolly and Greystones.

There will be track works at Ennis Station, from Saturday 16 to Monday, 18 April. Due to these works, customers are advised:

  • Limerick to Galway: bus transfers will operate for part or all of journeys on this route.

There will be bridge works between Dromod and Boyle on Saturday evening, 16 April. Due to these works, customers are advised that the Dublin to Sligo Intercity:

  • 6am Connolly to Sligo and 4.55pm Sligo to Connolly is cancelled.
  • 5.10pm and 7.15pm Connolly to Sligo includes bus transfers between Dromod and Carrick-on-Shannon/Boyle.
  • 7.05pm Sligo to Connolly includes bus transfers between Boyle/Carrick-on-Shannon and Dromod.
