Scam alert.
A lot of people reported missed calls overnight from ‘Ascension Island’ – the phone would ring once and then stop.
Well, don’t call it back. It’s a premium rate number and you’ll pay through the nose if you get connected.
Why am I getting calls from Ascension Island? Seems I'm not the only one either. A scam, presumably.

Asked for comment on the scam on Tuesday morning, the Gardaí told JOE that they were aware of the situation and were monitoring it closely.
