If you’re flying Ryanair this weekend, beware of some minor inconvenience

No need to panic

Conor Heneghan

As long as you’re well prepared you won’t be affected.

People going on their holidays always seem to find reasons to panic at the last-minute so it’s a good job that Ryanair have given plenty of advance warning about something that might cause a minor inconvenience this weekend.

Ryanair today alerted customers to the fact that their online check-in system will be down for ten hours from Friday evening to early on Saturday morning due to a systems upgrade.

From 7pm on Friday evening (June 19) to 5am on Saturday morning (June 20), Ryanair customers will not be able to use the airline’s check-in service, nor will they be able to make new bookings or change existing bookings as their website and mobile app will be closed.

Ryanair are contacting all customers travelling on Friday and Saturday to inform them of the need to check in on Thursday (June 18) and avoid the disruption and have apologised for any inconvenience caused.

As long as customers heed Ryanair’s message, there’ll be nothing to worry about, although we’re sure there’ll be some passengers panicking about something…
