Here is a list of every Bank Holiday in Ireland in 2024

JOE

You can start planning your time off for the rest of the year.

January is here and to beat the blues, just keep in mind that there isn’t long to go until the next Bank Holiday.

St Brigid’s Day falls on Monday, February 5, and it will be the second of 10 Bank Holidays in Ireland in 2024 – after New Year’s Day.

Ireland still has some way to go to match other European countries for public holidays – such as Italy (12), Portugal (13) and Denmark (14).

Yet, no one is complaining about having an extra day off work.

Here is the full list of Bank Holidays in the Republic of Ireland for the rest of 2024 so you can start planning your time off.

(At the time of writing, New Year’s Day has already been observed).
