It’s not quite on the same scale as
the €38.9 million claimed by a family syndicate in Dublin this week, but there was another big Irish winner in Tuesday night’s Euromillions draw.
The €37.9 million jackpot went unclaimed and will roll over onto Friday night, but there was one winner of the Ireland-only Euromillions Plus draw, worth a cool €500,000.
The winning numbers were
1, 20, 22, 27 and 50.
43 people in Ireland claimed €2,000 apiece in the Euromillions Plus draw, while there was one Irish winner of €3,357 in the main draw for matching four numbers and two lucky stars.
Several thousands other Irish people claimed smaller amounts ranging from €5 to €172; for more details, check out the results for Tuesday night’s draw on the
National Lottery website.
