You can’t make this stuff up…

When it comes to being on the end of some lucky breaks in life JOE can say that we have received a fair few.

There was that time when we reached into our pockets and found a fiver or that day we accidentally wandered into a room full of people and ended up being cast as the leading man in Batman.

Also, how could we forget the moment when those Real Madrid scouts spotted us playing football in the local park and instantly signed us up.

FYI, only one of these stores is true but it’s hard to tell which one, right?

Our story about the newly discovered €5 pales in comparison to the news that a Dublin man has just won €350,000 on the Lotto thanks to a mistake that he made when selecting his initial numbers.

Speaking with the Independent, the surprised winner who wishes to stay anonymous said, “I started buying my Lotto tickets online a few months ago as I wanted to make sure I was in the draws while away on holidays,” he said.

“This time I made a mistake when I was typing in my usual numbers, and got one of the numbers wrong. But if I hadn’t made that mistake, I wouldn’t be here.”

JOE imagines that this lucky sod will probably use his new found earnings to put a deposit down on a new home. We expect to read about the same man discovering oil, gold and diamonds on his newly acquired property .

Fair play to you sir, you jammy fecker.
