This is great news for the owners of The Dead Rabbit NYC.

The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog has reopened in New York City, after it was damaged in a fire almost three weeks ago.

Owned by Irishmen Jack McGarry and Sean Muldoon and opened in 2013, The Dead Rabbit topped “The World’s 50 Best Bars” list in 2016. It has since continued to thrive as one of New York’s most popular establishments with locals and tourists alike.

The announcement that the pub is open for business once again was made on Thursday afternoon.

When a fire broke out on the premises on 1 July early in the morning, the owners expressed their thanks for al the messages of support that they had received.

Thankfully, nobody had been hurt.

“Many, many thanks to everyone all over the word who has sent us messages of support. It’s truly appreciated. Things are difficult for us now, and there will no doubt be more difficulties ahead. But we’ll be back. After all, The Dead Rabbit was born in a hurricane,” they said at the time.

We visited the pub some time ago and let’s just say their reputation is deserved.
