Irish puff pastry producer Golden Bake is on the hunt for a head jambon taster.
Golden Bake is looking to receive applications for this open position from any fan of the pastry interested in developing a new jambon flavour for the company.
Interested candidates must apply by suggesting their ultimate jambon flavour in order to be considered.
A shortlist of applicants will be decided upon and the winner will get to develop a new original limited edition jambon flavour.
They will also win a year’s supply of Golden Bake jambons.
The job listing was posted by the company to mark National Jambon Day, an annual feast day to honour the delicacy Irish people cannot get enough of.
According to Golden Bake, 20 million jambons were enjoyed by Irish consumers throughout 2020, cementing the product’s status as Ireland's favourite comfort food.
The new flavour to be developed by Golden Bake will be released in time for National Jambon Day 2022.
