Irish Rail will not be allowing or selling alcohol on the following routes this Monday

Take note if you use these routes.

Irish Rail have advised passengers that no alcohol will be allowed on a series of commutes on Monday, 8 July.

These include the services from Dublin to Galway and Westport.

The trains will also not be selling alcohol from the catering trolleys.

The no-alcohol policy on the following routes is only in place for 8 July.

  • 11:25 Heuston to Galway
  • 12:15 Heuston to Westport
  • 13:25 Heuston to Galway
  • 4:45 Heuston to Westport
  • 15:35 Heuston to Galway

Alcohol is currently not permitted or sold on the following services:

  • 13:15hrs Dublin to Waterford service (Friday)
  • 15:10hrs Dublin to Waterford service (Friday)
  • 12:40hrs Waterford to Dublin service (Sunday)
  • 15:10hrs Waterford to Dublin service (Sunday)
  • 18:05hrs Waterford to Dublin service (Sunday)
  • 12:45hrs Dublin to Westport service (Friday)
  • 14:45hrs Dublin to Westport service (Friday)
  • 11:25hrs Dublin to Galway service (Friday)
  • 13:25hrs Dublin to Galway service (Friday)
  • 15:35hrs Dublin to Galway service (Friday)
  • 13:00hrs Galway to Dublin service (Sunday)
