There are no words to describe the horrors that face the children of Aleppo.
Aleppo is a major battleground in Syria’s devastating civil war. Fighting has intensified in the region since mid-July.
It is split between western areas held by the Government, backed by Russian warplanes, and eastern regions held by rebels.
Tweets from 7-year-old Bana Alabed offer a rare insight to life within the conflict.
Bana’s account is moderated by her mother and thus far, the pair have used it to highlight the effect the conflict has had on Bana’s childhood.
