Affectionate but still a little bit cutting at the same time, Joan would have loved this.
The entertainment world is in mourning today following the death of comedy legend and television host Joan Rivers, who passed away aged 81 yesterday.
Tributes flowed in for the comedienne from all over last night and while some were very touching indeed, most of them referenced the fact that Rivers was never afraid to tell it like it is and that her comedy was often dark and not always suitable for sensitive ears.
With that in mind, Transport of London paid Rivers a fitting tribute this morning with this message on a notice board, which, we’re pretty sure, is a reference to the number of amendments Rivers made to her own personal image over the years.
