Don’t take any chances.

Johnston Mooney & O’Brien have issued a recall of all bread products with a Best Before Date of 11 February 2018 due to concerns that they may contain small pieces of metal.

According to a statement from the company, the risk is “very small” and “no bun or roll products are affected.”

“Any potentially affected packs have been removed from the supermarket shelves in co-operation with the retail trade and any that were in the distribution system have been recalled by the company.”

Despite these measures, the company advises all customers to check if they have purchased bread products with the stated Best Before date.

They have also guaranteed that they will be refunded, either through a local retailer or by directly sending the empty package to their address: Johnston Mooney & O’Brien 11 Jamestown Road, Finglas, Dublin 11.
