McEntee said she will continue to carry out her duties remotely while isolating, and will attend Cabinet remotely today.
She announced the news in a series of tweets on Wednesday.

The minister, who announced last year she is pregnant, said health advice shows pregnant women and their babies are not at higher risk from the virus.
She added: "At the same time I urge everyone to follow public health advice and stay at home. If you think you’re developing symptoms no matter how small, act as though you have Covid.
"We all know the seriousness of the situation. We must protect our health system and our most vulnerable."
