Teenage boy seriously injured in road collision in Kerry

GardaĆ­ are appealing for witnesses.

A teenage boy has been seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Kerry on Monday morning (11 July).

The collision occurred in Tralee at approximately 1.10am on the Brewery Road.

The pedestrian, a man in his teens, was left with serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Cork University Hospital.

A technical examination of the scene is taking place on Monday morning.

GardaĆ­ are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this collision to get in contact. Any road users who were travelling in the area with camera footage, including dash cam, is asked to make this available to GardaĆ­.
