Good news if you don't want to pay for taxis home over Christmas.

Iarnród Éireann have released full details of their late night DART services over December and into the New Year, as well as added Dundalk and Maynooth commuter trains. Commuter and Leap tickets will be valid on all late night services, which start on Friday 2 December. The full schedule of services is as follows... Friday 2 & Saturday 3 December Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 December Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 December Thursday 22 and Friday 23 December - 00.30 & 01.30 from Pearse serving all stations to Howth - 00.30 & 01.30 from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones - 00.40 & 01.40 from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk - 00.20 & 01.50 from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth Late night Saturday 31st December (after New Year’s Eve concerts) - 01.30 & 02.30 from Pearse serving all stations to Howth - 01.30 & 02.30 from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones - 01.40 & 02.40 from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk - 01.20 & 02.50 from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth Fares will be charged at normal DART and Commuter rates, meaning customers can use Leapcard and buy cash fares for the cheapest Christmas travel option. Furthermore, weekly, monthly and annual season tickets are valid on late night services, so season ticket holders will be able to use the service at no extra charge. Late night services will have security personnel on board to ensure customer safety. A spokesperson for Iarnród Éireann said "we’re looking forward to running late night DART and Commuter services this Christmas and New Year. We have expanded services further this year, and looking forward to welcoming Christmas partygoers on board for a journey home which will be safe and help save money at an expensive time of year."
