The healthy fast food restaurant is expanding.

LEON, a popular restaurant known around the world for its healthy take on fast food, has announced that it will be bringing a second restaurant to Dublin next month.

The restaurant, which will be located on the Millennium Walkway in Dublin 1, is the first of four openings planned for 2020.

It will officially open on 11 February.

The company behind LEON plans to open 20 restaurants nationwide by 2023, with intentions to create 600 new jobs across the service industry as it shares its approach to fast food with its launch into Ireland.

Good news for the ever-rising vegan community in Ireland.

Managing Director of LEON Ireland, Stuart Fitzgerald, said; “We are delighted to announce the location of our second restaurant on the bustling Millennium Walkway. Our customers spoke and we listened – bring LEON to the northside.

“We can’t wait to expand to the other side of the Liffey and kick off our exciting 2020 rollout plan. We will open at least four new restaurants in 2020, so it will be a hugely exciting year for LEON Ireland. We have added the amazing Vegan Jack Wings to our vegan-friendly menu and will introduce some new classics in the coming months.”
