Tonight’s Lotto jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €13.5 million.

One EuroMillions player in Limerick got their weekend off a great start with a top prize win of €500,000 in Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased last Wednesday (1 September) at the Tesco store in the Roxboro shopping centre.

The numbers for Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw were 01, 09, 13, 28 and 44.

In a statement, the National Lottery says the lucky player is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to get in touch with the prize claims team by calling 1800 666 222 or emailing [email protected].

Arrangements will then be made for them to claim their prize.

While there was no winner of Friday night’s €17 million EuroMillions jackpot, over 58,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus games.

Meanwhile, Saturday night’s Lotto jackpot is set to hit a five-year high and roll towards an estimated €13.5 million.

The current jackpot has been rolling for almost three months and the next jackpot winner could become the 10th biggest Lotto winner in the history of the game in Ireland.

The National Lottery is reminding players hoping to scoop the historic Lotto prize to pick up their tickets early and to avoid queues in-store which will inevitably grow ahead of the 7.45pm deadline on Saturday.
